Am presently writing a book on the Tudor artist Levina Teerlinc (1510-1576), daughter of the renowned Flemish illuminator Simon Bening.
Lecturer at Smithsonian Institute, Washington D.C. Recent lectures include:
• February 2012: Four-session, five-hour lecture series on Pilgrimages during the Renaissance
• February 2010: taught four-week course in Art and Architecture for entitled Cathedrals and Beyond: Art of the Medieval World. Participants, who met for two hours per session, accumulated points toward the SI certificate in the History of Western Art.
