Kim Rendfeld is the author of The Cross and the Dragon, a tale of love amid the wars and blood feuds of Charlemagne’s reign. Her debut novel has been published in e-book and print by Fireship Press.
She grew up in New Jersey and attended Indiana University, where she earned a bachelor’s in journalism and English, with a minor in French. She was a journalist for seventeen years at Indiana newspapers, including the Journal and Courier in Lafayette, The Muncie Star, and The News and Sun in Dunkirk, and won several awards from the Hoosier State Press Association. Her current day job is as a copy editor for award-winning marketing and communications projects at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where she gets paid to agonize over commas and hyphens.
She lives with her husband, Randy, in Indiana, and their spoiled cats. They have a daughter and two granddaughters.
