I am a freelance journalist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I primarily write about design topics for print and online publications as well as on my blog thingselemental.com. However, I’m also working on my first novel inspired by the immigrant journey of my great-great-grandmother from rural Switzerland to Brigham Young-era Utah where she became a polygamous wife.
