About me
Born in Lancashire, I lived for a number of years in the Lake District where I ran a bookshop. I then tried my hand at the ‘good life’, kept sheep and hens, various orphaned cats and dogs, built drystone walls, planted a small wood and even learned how to make jam. I used this experience of life on the Lakeland fells to write what became the bestselling Luckpenny Land Series.
I have now given up the thermals to build a house in an olive grove in Spain, where my husband and I produce our own olive oil. I’ve published over 35 novels including many bestselling family sagas and historical novels.
