My background is Peace Corps Volunteer, U.S. Marine, Senior Fulbright Professor of Economics, university dean, and federal government official with long experience Chile, Peru, Mexico and Nicaragua. I have a Ph.D in international economics from American University (Washington, D.C.) and have also attended LSU, Notre Dame, Georgetown and George Washington. I’m published in academic journals and am the author of five nonfiction books published by small or university presses. My current interest is fiction with setting in Latin America. I’m also the moderator of a dynamic writers’ group in lovely Tarpon Springs, FL.
