About me
I am part of a consortium of Florida Writers Association authors, and the first to have a novel published. The consortium is under the Scriptor Publishing Company, Inc. (solely devoted to electronic publishing — www.ScriptorPublishing.com), and they are a group of authors who have decided to toss their creative surfboard into the ocean to await the coming ePublishing tsunami.
The first novelist to be published in the consortium, I write my first love—women’s historical fiction. “A Tiger’s Heart”, my Civil War drama/romance about women who fought in the war disguised as men won third place in the Florida Writers Association’s Royal Palm Literary Awards for best unpublished historical fiction novel in the state for 2010. My first book of the “Daring of Miss Jane Walden” series, “A Great Hunger”, won first place in the same statewide contest for 2008, but for women’s fiction. I have seven other eNovels available and more coming.
