Originally American, I’ve lived in the UK since 1999 and have been in Malaysia for the past three years–and expect to be here another two to five years.
I’m currently editing/finishing first draft of novel set during the Crimean War–with a focus on the siege of Sebastapol.
Previously a high-tech (IT/Telecomms) freelance author and marketing consultant in the US and Europe, I’ve had some recent publishing success with short stories and creative non-fiction and did a stint as Editor for an expat magazine here in Kuala Lumpur–and often put on the ‘writer’ hat to fill in the blanks.
I’m mad for Alaskan Malamutes and brought two here from the UK and live in air-conditioned delight with their crazy selves. I do the marketing and social media for a local dog shelter and enjoy food, travel, photography…and words, words, words.
