Cuyler Overholt

About me

Cuyler Overholt worked as a litigation attorney and freelance business writer before turning to fiction. Her debut novel, A Deadly Affection, received the ForeWord Firsts Debut Fiction Award and the Next Generation Indie Book Award for best mystery. Set in New York City in 1907, the book is about a young female psychiatrist who fears she may have inadvertently provoked a patient to commit murder.
The author’s interest in old New York was sparked by the reminiscences of her grandmother, whose life spanned over a century of the city’s history.
