Amanda Orr
About me
Much of Amanda Orr’s fictional work focuses on the people, places and things related to the “poor man’s Paris”–New Orleans, Louisiana.
Her work in progress takes place in 1920′s New Orleans amid the glitz of Mardi Gras and grit of the city’s underbelly.
Amanda’s professional writing career spans two decades and includes work as a grantwriter, communications consultant and freelance journalist. Clients include Time, Inc., Hearst Corporation, and theknot.com.
When she’s not writing or raising her 3 children she enjoys surfing on Goodreads.com, getting caught up in the world of Downton Abbey and playing Just Dance with her family…sleep is also in there somewhere.
